Getting Here
By Air edinburgh Airport is a 20-minute drive from the city centre and served by low cost airlines [for example Flybe, Bmibaby, Easyjet and Ryanair] from all over the UK and some European cities. A regular express shuttle bus runs between the airport and Princes Street.
By rail the main train station is Waverley Station, situated in the heart of the city. Services from Waverley Station offer regular daily links with most of the major towns and cities in the UK.
Getting Around
Buses around Edinburgh are run by either First Edinburgh or Lothian Buses. First Edinburgh bus drivers can give change, but to use Lothian bus services you must have the exact fare. Both companies offer daily and weekly saver fares.

The main attractions of Edinburgh are within walking distance of, or a short bus journey from, the city centre.
If you are travelling by car, parking is limited in the centre with street parking controlled by meters. There are large long-stay car parks at the St James Centre, Greenside Place, New Street, Castle Terrace and Morrison Street.
